Something I've learnt in the last few weeks:
Don't fill my mind with worry.
It contorts all my creative endevours and clouds my perspective. Worrying means that I'm not expecting the best outcomes for others or myself.
Worrying means that I'm being presented with a situation and I'm seeing it in completely the wrong way. Time to put in to practice the things that I've learnt this year.
I saw last night that a creative way of looking at my mind is to view it as a snowglobe, all the stagnant thoughts need to have a shake up to get all the glitter and sparkle shaken up.
By focusing on the drama I promote drama around me.
Instead I visualise peace, joy and positive outcomes, knowing that I cannot affect another persons world for they are responsible for their lives just as I am for mine.

HOLD IT IN YOUR HANDS
Hi there, a cold and frosty morning again! no snow though, a huge blessing.
This week I've been drawn to making things, drawing, writing and even knitting, something I haven't done since I was in school. I've discovered that knitting is a wonderful form of meditation! It also reminds me of the amazing power my hands have to transform thoughts and dreams into reality. It seems there's a steady stream of reminders about the wonderful attributes that different parts of my body bring into my life. So, today I will send love, light and gratitude to my hands for their ability to help me create, and for the highways of energy that run through them allowing me to channel healing.
Exercise to send love and healing to any situation or person.
Sit and put your hands on your legs, give self reiki for 5 minutes.
Either in your minds eye, or for real, cup your hands in front of you. Inside them put the situation or person that you would like to shine light and healing onto.
Imagine a beautiful light engulfing the whole situation/person. Do this for 5-10mins and repeat as you feel necessary.
I've found this exercise brought me a feeling of great calm and love. I can just imagine whatever I want in my cupped hands, streaming light and love to everything in them. I usually picture this in my head, which means I can do it anytime or anywhere.
Try this: Imagine that you have the whole planet in your hands and surround it in light and love. Our dear planet needs to be loved so spend time every day sending loving thoughts to her.

messages for me this week
For the last week it's been evident that there are a number of really important changes coming to the fore. changes have been happening throughout the year, lots of them! But now it seems it's down to the grand finale
- It's time to put all that I've learnt into pracice. Every day seems to call to me "what have you been taught about this situation, what are the tools you can use".
- Reiki and working with energy - it's time to release all my fears and limitations and expand way beyond my perception so that I don't limit my experiences. As I trust more, listen and focus on the energy, it's changing beyond recognition and the energy is certainly becoming stronger. As I focus on my Reiki practice and self healing there is a whole new understanding of my body and the energy within it. I'm much more aware of how my body speaks to me and recognise that for many years we've been strangers and now we have a whole new relationship.
- I need to listen. It's important for me to listen more intently to my intuition and my guides. The more I pay attention to the little nudges and whispers, the more prominent they become.
- I have learnt all that I need to know for now, to monitor my thoughts and beliefs more rigorously. It's time to move forward and trust the process will take me to the next level. I need to test myself now and my conviction to all that I believe through my Reiki practice and my spiritual work. Thoughts become reality, so now's the time to become aware more than ever of the the thoughts that will become my future.
- Everything is testing my ability to trust, to remain calm and centred, to listen to guidance, to be aware of signs and symbols that are sent for me to take action.
- Cultivate my imagination - I've learnt that my imagination is more important to me than I ever realised. Now I've found how much fun using my imagination can be and that it's important for me to focus on developing it further, every moment of every day.
- I've found that I suffer from very tense muscles all the time because I'm afraid to let go. Now I'm making friends with my body and the messages it's sending me I'm able to do something about it and am aware that constantly monitoring my body and the way it feels, talking to it with love and giving it healing is making all the difference.
